WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Game times have been set and ticket plans are in place for this weekend's NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Atlantic Regional tournament at West Liberty University.

The 8-team event tips off with afternoon and evening quarterfinal sessions on Saturday at the University's Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC).

The afternoon session tips off at noon with a West Virginia Conference matchup between No. 3 seed Charleston (26-6) and No. 6 seed Wheeling Jesuit (21-9). No. 2 seed Shaw, N.C. (25-3) meets No. 7 seed Indiana, Pa. (23-5) in the 2:30 p.m. game.

Defending champion West Liberty (29-2), hosting the tournament as the No. 1 seed for the second straight year, opens the evening session at 6 p.m. against No. 8 seed East Stroudsburg, Pa. (20-11). That will be followed by an 8:30 p.m. tipoff between No. 4 seed West Virginia Wesleyan (21-8) and No. 5 seed Winston-Salem State, N.C. (21-8).

Saturday's winners will return to the ASRC for Sunday's regional semifinals at 5 and 7:30 p.m. After an off day on Monday, the Atlantic Region championship game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Tuesday.

Tickets for each session are priced at $12 for adults and $6 for students with IDs. Single-session Saturday tickets will be available at the West Liberty Student Union on Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A limited number of single-session tickets for Saturday's quarterfinal round will go on sale Wednesday at noon at TJ's Sports Garden and Restaurant on National Road in Wheeling and the Main Street Bank outlets in Wheeling, Wellsburg and Elm Grove. 

Discount packages of $20 for both Saturday sessions and $35 covering all four tournament sessions will be available for purchase from Athletic Secretary Robin Brunner on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the WLU Athletic Department on the fourth floor of the ASRC. Cash transactions only will be accepted.

The Atlantic Region champion advances to the 2012 NCAA Division II Elite Eight, which will be held March 21-24 in University Heights, Ky.
